Amazon.com Product Description Timex gives its signature Ironman Triathlon multi-function, performance sport watch a sleek new look that's a great fit for both men and women. Featuring a full complement of athletic timing features and a striking profile, the Timex Triathlon Sleek T54281 has a black matte resin case and silver metallic top ring that's complemented by a uniquely styled black resin strap. It features three alarms that can be set for daily/weekday/weekend/weekly alarms, two time zones, an all-day white reflector display for easy reading even in direct sunlight, and water resistance to 100 meters. Sport timing functions include: - 100-hour chronograph with lap/split
- On-the-fly recall of lap or split
- Training log stores workouts by date, with best lap, average lap, and total segment time
- Total run format/synchro timer maintains total activity time (less time paused during workout) and overall running time
- Automatic interval repetition counter
- Forward or backward setting
- Built-in setting reminders
- Top pusher for easy access to lap and split
The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.

Keeps on tickin' October 28, 2008 This was actually a replacement watch, because somebody snagged my first one (don't know why I even took it off in the first place...). Great sports watch--light, functional, plenty of features. Only a couple issues: 1) there's a slight crack that developed just on the left of the large start/lap button at the bottom of the watchface. I thought it was actually a scratch for the longest time, but it hasn't caused any problems (as far as I can tell). 2) The start/lap button is a little unresponsive at times, and it has been for as long as I can remember. Then again, this could be related to issue 1). Either way, great buy!!!
The wristband is a MAJOR drawback for this watch. October 23, 2008 I bought this watch for four reasons: the Timex brand, the interval timer function, the wristband feel, and the price. Timex always puts out great products, and I happened to find this one at a price about $10 lower than on Amazon. The interval timers are great for runners looking to do workouts without a coach around. The wristband is nice looking and feels great, but it will separate from the watch at the most inopportune times (like when you're running), and it is NOT easy to put back together. Some people would say three out of four is not bad, but for someone who will wear this watch daily, especially while running, this is not the Timex to get. Stay away from any Timex watches with this type of wristband... you will regret it!
Nice watch, but poor rubber watch bands. September 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like the watch unit. It has large numbers, with 2 interval timers, which are great for interval training.
The bad part is the watch band. It cracks and breaks, and there is no way to replace it besides buying a new watch. Now I am looking for a watch with the identical features but with replaceable watch bands.
Not impressed September 1, 2008 The indiglo light lasted less than a month and the way to review your splits is more complicated than on the Nike watches. It is lightweight however and does not bother me when I run.
Excellent sports watch August 25, 2008 Since I used a Timex Triathon I love Timex sports watched. I wanted to give this a try. I like it too. It is lightweight and is good looking. The big numbers are easy to read. It is not as flat as I would like it. The screen indicators are awesome. This means that when I set the hour, on the corners small labels appear to remind me how to set up the time. Otherwise, I would have to try different buttons until I am able to adjust the hour/minute. This product is definitively 5 stars.
