Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Around Europe lie a number of long forgotten monuments, wind swept and abandoned the derelict buildings and crumbling tarmac are all that remains of once great motor racing circuits. From the great speed bowls of Monza and Brooklands, to the parkland of Crystal Palace. All photographed as they are now but remembered in their prime.

5 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC PICTURES - AWESOME READING   June 24, 2008

Wonderfully written blending a good mixture of historical and current information. Very nice photo's showing historical tracks and racing, and how the track looks today. This would be a good book to take along with you if you were a historic track hunter. The research and finding these tracks must have been time consuming and frustrating to say the least!
If I only had one suggestion, include GPS coordinates to speed the process of finding these tracks (for people like myself who travel to Europe, successfully convince the wife to spend half a day looking for something that may or may not be in existence (Rouen Les Essarts), and squander that half day never finding anything). I hope Mr. Collins releases more books like this one, and/or inspire more people to do similar work.
